Highland Tennis Championships

The Championships for 2024 will be held from the 9th to the 15th September.

Since 1896, the second oldest tournament in Scotland has taken place in the grounds of the Atholl Palace Hotel in Pitlochry – the heart of the Highlands. The four recently refreshed, all weather courts nestle sheltered among the trees (normally drenched by sunlight!) are overlooked by the castle like towers of the hotel.

There are few finer venues anywhere for a tournament such as this which is held every September. Many famous names have been associated with it over the years and none ever forget the unique atmosphere generated by this friendliest of tournaments. Whilst the competitive edge is always there, the spirit of the event is often more important.

We have some racquets and tennis balls at reception for you to borrow.

Daniel Alexander Reed provides coaching for all level of players, from beginners (Junior and Adults) to competing juniors during the Highland Tennis Championships, from 9th to 15th September 2024.
