Spa Frequently Asked Questions

The Spa at Atholl Palace is open for treatments 10am – 6pm, 7 days a week. The pool & leisure facilities are open from 7am – 9pm Monday to Friday and 7am – 7pm Saturday & Sunday.

We have a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Tepidarium, Steam Room and Gym. We also offer our 50 acre estate including glorious gardens, 9-hole pitch ‘n’ putt, putting green, 4 championship tennis courts and our very own museum.

Yes, towels are provided on poolside, lockers in the leisure area require a £1 coin. We advise you not to wear slippers from the bedrooms in the spa area as they can be slippery on the floor.

We ask that our guests arrive 10 minutes prior to their appointment time to allow time to fill in a consultation form.

We always advise discussing any medical conditions with our therapists who can recommend a suitable treatment for you. You may require a doctors letter to be able to have treatments with certain medical conditions.

We cannot carry out treatments on guests under the age of 16 years old.

The use of our pool facilities is included if you are a guest of Atholl Palace Hotel and Lodges or if you have booked one of our relax and pamper days excluding Pamper at the Palace. Non-residents can use our pool facilities for £20.00 per adult, £10.00 for children aged 5–16 years old, under 5’s are free. We would advise guests wishing to use the pool to do so prior to having their treatment.

In the wet areas you are required to wear swimwear and in the Gym you are required to wear appropriate gym attire.

The pool facilities in The Atholl Palace are not staffed.

The swimming pool at Atholl Palace Hotel is 1.2 metres deep throughout its entire length, there is no deep or shallow end. The pool is approximately 11 metres in length and 5 metres wide.

The temperature of the swimming pool is approximately 29ºC and temperature of the jacuzzi is approximately 40ºC.

For health and safety reasons we cannot allow more than 27 guests in the pool facilities at any one time. During busy periods we may restrict your time in the facilities to a 1 hour session.

For the privacy and comfort of other guests we request that mobile phones are stored in lockers during your visit to The Spa at Atholl Palace, this applies to the pool facilities as well as treatment areas.

We require Credit/Debit card details to secure any bookings. Cancellation within 48 hours of reservation date will incur a charge of the full amount of the treatments booked.
